ChangeGroup is looking for friendly, reliable and customer-focused people to join our Foreign Exchange team at Larnaca Airport.

As a Sales Consultant, you will work in an international airport environment, meeting customers from around the world and helping them with their foreign currency and related financial-service needs.

Previous foreign exchange experience is not required – full training will be provided.

What you'll be doing

• Buying and selling foreign currencies

• Providing excellent customer service to international travellers

• Understanding customers' foreign currency needs and recommending appropriate services

• Promoting our products and services and working towards sales targets

• Handling cash accurately and securely

• Assisting customers with Tax Free refund services

• Following company cash-handling, security and compliance procedures

• Working closely with your colleagues to provide an efficient and professional service

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is positive, responsible and enjoys working with people.

You should:

• Have excellent communication and customer-service skills

• Be confident speaking with customers from different countries and backgrounds

• Have a positive attitude towards sales and achieving targets

• Be comfortable handling cash and working with numbers

• Have excellent attention to detail

• Be reliable and punctual

• Be able to remain calm and accurate during busy periods

• Be able to follow procedures and work responsibly

• Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Have a good command of English

• Be eligible to work full-time in Cyprus

Previous experience in retail, sales, hospitality, banking, cash handling, airport operations or customer service would be an advantage, but previous foreign exchange experience is not required.

Working hours

• 38 hours per week – Full Time

• 5 out of 7 days

Larnaca Airport operates 365 days a year, and our operation follows the airport schedule. The position therefore involves rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with days off varying according to the roster.

Due to the airport location and shift times, you will need to have reliable transport to and from Larnaca Airport, including for early morning and late shifts.
